Take Your Dog to Work Day!

Friday, June 25, will be celebrated by pet lovers nationwide as the 11th annual "Take Your Dog to Work" Day. A growing number of companies allow pets in the workplace for this special occasion.

If you decide to take your dog to work, the following equiptment will make the day easier on your pet and your co-workers:
   * A baby gate, so you can restict your pet to the office or cubical
   * A waterbowl and some treats, plus a plastic mat for under the bowl to prevent stains on the office floor
   * A bed or sleeping mat and a couple familiar toys
   * Plastic baggies for cleaning up after your pet!

Even if your pet is extrememly well behaved, be sure to check with y our co-workers about any concerns you may have. A neighbor with severe allergies or overwhelming fear of dogs won't appreciate the gentlest canine.

Matter of Trust

Best Friends Pet Care has been doing our very best to help clean up the environment after the disheartening oil spill we have recently experienced. We have collected clean dog hair in our grooming shop one box at a time to send off to the Matter of Trust organization, who are working very hard to make hair mats to absorb oil in our oceans.

June's Camper of the Month

LUNA

Luna is the biggest sweetheart! She always a smile on her face and plenty of hugs to give. She has the ability to brighten your day the moment you see her. All of her fellow campers love her big fluffy coat and the wonderful addition she has been to our big Doggie DayCamp family.
