    That cat story's been going around for a while, and it really is amazing. The way cats drink is a behavioral workaround for what is, essentially, an evolutionary design flaw -- the inability to form a seal with the mouth, as a human can. Nature is so remarkable; it creates an awkward and messy device, and then devises elegant and ingenious ways to make that device exceed the limits of its design.
